What are URL Expanders?

URL Expanders are used to automatically expand shortened URLs into their full, original form. This is done by matching the shortened URL against a pre-determined list of expanded URLs. Once matched, the full URL is displayed in the browser window. This is a convenient way to avoid having to type out long, complex URLs.
